The Vespa MP3 is a modern-design, three-wheeled scooter produced by Piaggio of Italy from 2006. Its three-wheel configuration provides for increased safety, road grip and stability, which is unattainable with a two-wheeled vehicle. The Vespa’s considerable power and agility also provide for maximum fun and driving pleasure.
Innovative features to this series of scooters include its single-cylinder 250 cc fuel-injected engine, automatic transmission, locking suspension and all round disc brakes. The 250ie marked a shift in scooter design by utilising a more powerful engine than its predecessors, combined with a sophisticated ECU engine management system.
Although not a performance scooter, this model is noted for its rapid acceleration off the mark, ride stability, state of the art ergonomics and the stopping power of its all round disc brakes.
