The Silver Spur is a long-wheelbase version of the luxurious Silver Spirit and was produced between 1980 and 1999 by Rolls Royce at their Crewe factory. As with all models from this manufacturer, emphasis is squarely placed on sumptuous finish and a luxury level of ride quality.
Powered by the firm’s tried and tested 6.75 liter V8 engine, this Mark III version of the Spur, first introduced in 1993, also features a four-speed Hydramatic transmission. One of the most notable features of this model is the Automatic Ride Control, a fully-automated system which adjusts the dampers in real time at all four wheels. Fuel injection and ABS brakes are also standard for this model.
Internally, the Silver Spur is finished to the very highest of standards, with walnut veneered dashboard and all-leather upholstery. The Mark III version presented here is one of only 465 ever built between 1994 and 1995.
