The 1976 convertibles were considered instant collector’s items, and speculators soon drove prices sky high. Once factory production ended and dealer supply was depleted, prices flew to two or three times suggested retail price of $11,049, making this car a collector’s item.
GM heavily promoted this 1975 Eldorado as “the last American convertible”. The Eldorado 70’s styling has often been associated with the size and comfort of the old car.
