The Jaguar XK 150 is a wonderful car. Although the chassis was carried over unchanged from the 140, there were many new features available and upgraded which now included four-wheel disc brake. Initially, a convertible and fixed head were the only body choices. The hood of this model was wider than the previous and came with the well-known twin-cam, straight-six, which was described more than once as being almost as pretty as the car itself.
Many car enthusiasts considered the XK150 a fast touring car rather than an out-and-out sports car, which is supported by the simple fact that the cars were seldom raced or rallied.
